What are the main reasons why you have chosen to sponsor Lösningar för Offentlig Sektor?
PwC has chosen to act as a sponsor because we see great value in forums where the public sector can come together, exchange experiences and gain new perspectives on key societal issues. We work closely with local authorities, regions, government bodies and publicly owned companies throughout Sweden, and on a daily basis we deal with issues relating to governance, efficiency, digitalisation and long-term sustainability. We therefore view the exhibition as a relevant forum for dialogue on how the public sector can continue to develop and meet the demands of the future.
As part of our involvement in Lösningar för Offentlig Sektor, PwC is also engaged in the work surrounding the Local Government Leadership Day, where we contribute to the dialogue on the programme’s focus, content and relevant future issues for local government leaders. Our aim is to create a vital forum for the exchange of experiences and discussion of the strategic challenges facing the local government sector.
What current challenges and opportunities do you see in the public sector, and how is your organisation helping to address them?
The public sector faces several parallel challenges, including financial pressures, demographic changes, the supply of skills, and a growing need to use technology wisely and in a way that is closely aligned with operational needs. At the same time, there are significant opportunities to develop working methods, strengthen governance, and utilise digitalisation and AI to free up time, improve quality and create greater value for citizens and organisations. PwC contributes by combining an understanding of the public sector with broad expertise in areas such as business development, change management, financial management, digitalisation, AI, cyber security, sustainability, internal control and risk management.
What do you hope to achieve through your participation, and what insights or experiences are you looking forward to sharing with visitors to the fair?
We hope that our participation will contribute to valuable discussions with decision-makers and leaders in the public sector on how organisations can develop with a focus on quality, efficiency and long-term trust. We look forward to sharing our experiences from projects in areas such as governance and management, operational development, digitalisation, AI and change management. Our aim is to offer perspectives that are concrete, relevant and useful to organisations currently facing the need for major transformation.
